Finance

Finance adds up your jobs for this month, this year, all time or your own dates. It shows revenue, profit, money collected and money outstanding, and lists every job with its profit and balance. A second tab lists your issued invoices with their own totals for the same period.

Finance

What it does.

  • Any period

    Switch between this month, this year, all time or a custom from and to date.

  • Revenue, collected, outstanding

    Headline figures for total revenue, collected, outstanding and how many jobs are paid.

  • Profit after materials and labour

    Net profit and material cost appear in the Full Detail view. Labour is costed from logged hours when you have set an hourly rate.

  • Every job with its profit

    Each job shows its total, a Paid or Unpaid badge, its profit and what is still owed.

  • Invoice a job from the list

    The PDF button on a job lets you turn it into a tax invoice or a service report.

  • Trends

    A bar chart of revenue over the last six months, and your team's hours for the period, in the Full Detail view.

  • Issued Invoices tab

    A list of your issued invoices for the same period, with its own revenue, collected and outstanding figures. You can take a receipt or cancel an invoice from each row.

  • PDF and CSV export

    Export the period's jobs as an earnings summary PDF or a CSV for your accountant.
